Stingray Point Wedding | Casee and Adam

Stingray Point Wedding | Casee and Adam | 4.06.16

Casee and Adam’s Stingray Point wedding, under Mandurah’s famous Moreton Bay fig tree, was symbolic because it’s where Adam proposed….and Casee said ‘Yes’.

These two love birds first met 3 years ago while working on a gold mine in the middle of the Tanami Desert. Not knowing where the Tanami Desert is, I resorted to ‘google is your friend’ and found this in Wikipedia: The Tanami Desert is a desert in northern Australia, situated in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. It has a rocky terrain with small hills. The Tanami was the Northern Territory’s final frontier and was not fully explored by Australians of European descent until well into the twentieth century.

The wedding was an intimate affair, being attended by Casee and Adam’s family, and the bridal party was made up of Casee and Adam’s children. Diane Caratozzolo-Waddington from Heart & Soul Celebrations conducted the ceremony.

Following the ceremony and family photos, the newlyweds and I headed over to Sutton’s Homestead in Halls Head for a photo session in the late afternoon sun. I must say, the weather leading up to this day had been typically wintry. However, on the day, we had clear skies and bright sunshine…you can’t ask for better than that.

The reception, held at The Brighton, was attended by friends who believed they were celebrating Adam’s birthday. Well, they were….but as Casee and Adam arrived, still dressed in their wedding attire, it was obvious that they were also celebrating a wedding.

The speeches were hilarious, including the the real reason why Adam likes to take the kids to Toys R Us in Cannington…I’ll let you ask him (but if you go to google maps, check out the shop next door!!!)

A honeymoon at the Gold Coast awaits 🙂
